Last week's glorious sunshine brought us a narrow loss; today's cloud cover promised darker things to come, most obviously rain.
Another good batting performance, with runs to the ultra-consistent Tony Desimone, saw us post 224/5, which looked a pretty decent target.
As it turned out it was plenty. Fulbourn II never looked likely to get 200, although admittedly we were helped by the increased humidity which had the ball swinging all over the place -- three slips and a silly point is not our usual fielding placement . . .
