The Cambridgeshire Cricket Association junior league scoring system is as follows: if a team wins it gets 20 points; if a team loses there is 1 point for each two wickets taken and 1 point for each multiple of 30 runs (but only up to 150 runs).

Clearly we'd be there if we'd won one of our matches against Elmdon (lost by a combined total of just 36 runs), but we'd also be there if we'd played (and won) two more matches against one of the lower sides -- five such potential wins were washed out without a ball being bowled.
